I would like you to help me spread the words that Singing ‘We all come from the Goddess’ should NOT BE rewritten. … You steal my song from now will have consequences. You put men into the song, like God,a hex will be activated … I wrote that song for the Goddess worshipping women … Its a sacred song, and i will protect it!

Z Budapest, declaring a curse shall be unleashed to anyone who dares to be inspired by her music & modify / improve it in any way (even in their private, personal practice). Source: Facebook

I, for one, shall never utilize this song again. Further, I shall recommend that any circle I attend which utilizes “We All Come From the Goddess” pick a different tune, to protect themselves form the legal & magickal repercussions of this bigot.

I am very inspired by the strength people have in taking a stance against Z in this latest act she’s performed. Below are some of the choice comments made so far, but you can view many more on the post on Facebook.

“She put a hex on this song? This song is now a cursed song. It is unworthy of the Pagan community.”
— Juniper Jeni

“Attaching a hex to a ‘sacred prayer’? It sounds like an elder forgot the Rede. Maybe a little Wicca 101 would do Z some good. Might I recommend Cunningham; none of his works spew hate.”
— Lin Press Chambers

“My kids and I sung this song at a circle nt to long ago. My girls are 3&4 yrs old. We had no clue about who wrote this or that we were singing an altered version. Are you saying you hexed my lil girls because they sung this altered version? Your crazy”
— Travis R. Tippetts”

“…I appreciate protecting your copyright and all that but ‘hexing”… really? what are we all 5 and playing I’m a bigger badder witch than you? Seriously….. one word…. BALANCE.”
— Michelle Leikin Ondshrafn Gase

“I’ll never use the chant again. It has a hex attached to it and I’m not going to touch it. I guess I would be moved that a piece of mine was so universally loved that people use it everywhere. Blessings to you and may you find love and forgiveness.”
— Emilie Blattman Costello

“Pft.. The Hex is that she just invalidate the majesty the piece once had.”
— Sarah Marie Dove
