I just read the LM/Cat discussion and I'm wondering if she does something to those that upload/share her work. I've shared her book on a private tracker. Two weeks after it got taken down by dmca I got laid off, among other things - makes me wonder how far her rage will go.

Yes, she says she sends DCMAs all the time - and that they “get her no where.”

She clearly refuses to follow the standard DCMA process, which involves going to court after the notice is filed and perusing legal action. This process is in place, and works all the time (it’s what helped close down MegaUpload just yesterday).

However, instead of working to protect her copyright, she is choosing to be lazy, throwing up her hands, and saying “I don’t like the process we have right now! Instead, I should be able to find & shoot pirates dead, myself, without any evidence!”

The idea of a woman with these extreme views being judge, jury, and (LITERALLY) executioner is vivid, disgusting, and terrifying. When you add to this the fact that she is a well known person in the pagan community, who is considered a leader by almost all within Hoodoo, it makes it a very distressing situation indeed.
