Cat is such an avid supporter (yes, supporter) of SOPA / PIPA, that she proposes the government allow her to kill pirates (no, I’m not kidding).

Read below, then choose whether you ever wish to continue to support Lucky Mojo Curio Co. again.

Cat Yronwode has officially blocked me on Facebook.

Clearly she wants to keep her vile, cruel, shameful, terrifying comments… comments where she feels she can be judge, jury, and executioner of someone who copies a PDF, TXT, or webpage… from making it’s way onto the web.

To bad it’s already said, and done.

According to a friend of mine:

“Looks like she removed all ‘you’ve lost a customer’ posts.”

I can’t confirm this (as noted above, she blocked me) but this would make sense. She’s clearly trying to hide her shameful bile and not let the public know that (former) customers are so disgusted with her they’re abandoning her entirely.

To bad for her that it’s too late.

There were a large, Large, LARGE number of comments and posts on her page that were openly saying how much they are appalled at her comments (both pro-SOPA / PIPA, as well as pro-‘shoot a pirate in the face’, etc)… and they would never again be a customer of Lucky Mojo.

I received a letter from a reader of my blog that I felt like sharing. I’ve removed any and all references to who this might be from or about to protect those involved. Sadly, like with many things, there is no ‘evidence’ to speak of… but perhaps others reading this will find support / comfort in knowing they aren’t alone as victims of Cat Yronwode’s particular style of treatment:

“By the way, I have to thank you for your bravery in the debacle with Cat, as well as your willingness to let the Internet know about her radical siding with SOPA. My [mentor] had a similar encounter with her when she verbally attacked colleagues of his, and when he called her out on her bullshit, she deleted his posts as well as edited her past comments.”

If this letter, and others like it I’ve received, are any indication: Cat’s behavior is neither random nor recent. I respect that sometimes people can get highly emotional in communications… but when all I keep seeing are people denouncing a particular individual it’s hard to put faith and support in the person being referenced.
